Types of presentations:

Accepted abstracts will be presented either as:

An oral presentation
OR
An ePoster presentation

ORAL PRESENTATION

PowerPoint presentations can be uploaded 3 weeks before the event on the summit platform.

Using your own template is allowed as long as you follow these rules:

  • MS-PowerPoint 2013 or earlier versions (*.ppt and *.pptx) 
  • Screen ratio 16:9 
  • Make sure your slides are in a single file. 

Note: If you are using PowerPoint 2007 or older versions please do not forget to upload all your video files as well, as they cannot be embedded into the presentation. 

COI disclosures: 

You will have to complete a conflict of interest questionnaire at the time of the presentation upload. The conflict of interest statement will be displayed as a mandatory slide at the beginning of the presentation. (The slide will be added automatically to your presentation, you do not need to include the disclosures in your PowerPoint). 

About the oral presentation: 

Personal laptops cannot be connected in the lecture hall. 

You may make changes to your presentation in the summit platform at any time until 3 hours before the start of the session. 

Onsite, you may make changes to your presentation in the Speaker Service centre at least 3 hours before the start of the session. Our staff will review your presentation with you and assist with uploading it to the system.

Please note that if you do not present your abstract the bursary will be withdrawn. 

ePOSTER PRESENTATION

Slideshow presentations can be uploaded 3 weeks before the event on the conference platform.

  • Using your own template is allowed as long as they follow the ePoster format rules: 
  • Microsoft Powerpoint is the ideal format 
  • The PDF format is also accepted 
  • Landscape format is mandatory 
  • Dimensions 140cm wide x 90 cm 
  • Font recommendations: Arial, Arial black, Calibri and regular text size no less than 28 for the body of the different sections. 

About the ePoster sessions: 

All ePosters will be attributed an ePoster session for their presentation. 

ePoster presenters must stand by the ePoster during the indicated time. 

If you have been awarded a bursary for your ePoster it is mandatory to stand by your ePoster screen at your designated time of presentation so we can collect your signature to confirm and validate your bursary. 

Please make sure to sign otherwise your bursary might be withdrawn. 

Embargo policy

All abstracts will be available publicly on the summit website 2 weeks prior to the event. 

The information contained in the abstracts will be under embargo until two weeks prior to the event. (28 April 2023) 

Abstracts will be published online two weeks prior to the event. (28 April 2023) 

Violation of this policy will be taken seriously. Individuals and/or sponsors who violate it may face sanctions relating to current and future abstract submission, presentations and visibility at any EASL event.
