EASL’s ILC 2021 will be the 56th iteration of a flagship annual congress – a firmly rooted tradition that is set to be a sparkling, four-day virtual event taking place 23–26 June 2021. Over half a century has passed since the first EASL meeting took place in 1966 in person, with only a cluster of Europe-based hepatologists. Our vision and scope have grown from strength to strength.
EASL is now gearing up to welcome thousands of delegates to ILC 2021, from diverse professions, and we’re offering special low rates for nurses, allied health professionals (AHPs) and Young Investigators.
Calling for nurses and allied health professionals working with liver patients
Nurses and AHPs have grown in prominence at our International Liver Congress™: presenting research, learning, and career-boosting networking. For ILC 2021, we’re offering all nurses and AHPs these significant early-fee savings:
- Nurses and AHPs, EASL members: EUR 50
- Nurses and AHPs, not EASL members: EUR 100
When 2020 was designated Year of the Nurse and the Midwife by the World Health Organization, we were delighted to shine a light on the nurses and AHPs supporting liver patients. Nurses and AHPs remain crucial to the global hepatology community. So we call on the global community of liver nurses and AHPs to register early – to make your voice heard, contribute to the important exchanges taking place, and build your career.
Calling for Young Investigators, scientists, researchers
Young Investigators are a crucial part of every International Liver Congress™: sharing, learning, networking, and identifying the next big step career step. We’re offering Young Investigators these significant early-fee savings:
- For YIs who are EASL members: EUR 100
- For YIs from countries defined by the World Bank as low-income and lower-middle income economies, whether you are a member or not: EUR 30
