With the “Rising Star 2023”, the Task Force wishes to provide a platform to showcase an emerging liver nurse or AHP whose focus is on putting people with, or at risk of, liver disease at the heart of practice. With this initiative, the task force recognizes the many talented liver nurses and AHPs who contribute to service delivery, clinical excellence, leadership, audit, innovation, education, and research.

We would like to hear from people who wish to nominate a junior or self-nominate. There are no age limits or geographic restrictions.

How to submit a nomination:

Please access the EASL Memberzone and select “Nurses & AHPs Rising Star Award – 2023” application option under “Grants and Awards”.

Please note that the person who submits the nomination needs to be an EASL Member.

What to include in the nomination letter:

Please outline the nominated nurse or AHP’s contribution to delivering excellence in practice in one of the following areas: Service delivery, clinical excellence, leadership, audit, innovation, education, research, or other (word limit 500 words). The content of the letter could include: Why do you think the nominee is a rising star? What did the nominee do to deserve this nomination? How does the nominee contribute to patient management?

Please inform your candidate about the nomination. It is mandatory that the selected Rising Star 2023 showcase their contribution to improving the care and management of people with, or at risk of, liver disease at the EASL Congress 2023. If attendance is not wished for or possible, the nomination is invalid.

At the EASL Congress 2023:
