We are excited to announce the call for nominations for the 2025 EASL Community Award, a prestigious recognition designed to honour outstanding individuals within the international liver community. The EASL Governing Board invites all active EASL members to nominate exemplary candidates who have made significant contributions to the field of hepatology.

The EASL Community Award celebrates those who have demonstrated excellence in one or more of the following categories:

  • Teaching and Mentorship: Recognising those who have made exceptional contributions to education, training, and mentorship at a national or international level, shaping the future of hepatology.
  • International Liver Health Advocacy: Honouring individuals who have championed liver health and patient care through advocacy, awareness campaigns, or public health initiatives.
  • Innovation: Celebrating pioneers whose innovative approaches have advanced research and/or clinical practice in liver health.
  • Other Contributions: Acknowledging outstanding achievements that may not fit neatly into the above categories but have nonetheless had a profound impact on the EASL community and the field of hepatology.
