EASL expresses deep sadness at the sudden passing of Prof. Fritz von Weizsäcker, who died on 19 November 2019 at the age of 59.
Prof. von Weizsäcker was an expert for gastroenterology, hepatology, oncology, and infectiology at Schlosspark Clinic in Berlin. He was an active, engaged, and much loved member of our community.
Our thoughts and sympathy are with his family at this extremely difficult time.
