Join the International Society for Hepatic Encephalopathy and Nitrogen Metabolism (ISHEN) experts for a review of the latest clinical and translational research in hepatic encephalopathy.

The International Society for Hepatic Encephalopathy and Nitrogen Metabolism (ISHEN) is hosting its 18^th Meeting in historic Williamsburg, Virginia marking the first US meeting of the society.

The ISHEN 18^th Meeting is an up-to-date, evidence-based, clinically oriented educational program with distinguished international faculty.  Outstanding basic, clinical, and translational research work by junior investigators will also be presented.

The Williamsburg Lodge is located in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg, the world’s largest living history museum boasting over forty sites and trades, four historic taverns, and two world-class art museums.

Call for abstracts

We invite researchers and clinicians at all levels to submit abstracts on current and emerging basic, clinical, and translational hepatic encephalopathy research.
