Description

The Latin American Association for the Study of the Liver (ALEH), was founded in São Paulo in 1968, under the leadership of Prof. Silvano Raia. Its first meeting was held in São Paulo in 1968, with the participation of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Venezuela. Although these countries remain engaged in the organisation of the society, member countries have grown and now include several from South and Central America.

The 26th Congress of the Latin-American Association for the Study of the Liver (ALEH 2020) is taking place on 21-24 April 2021 online. The congress brings attendees the latest innovations in basic and clinical research on the study of the liver, its structure, and diseases. It provides a platform for high-level science and an opportunity to share knowledge on the care and management of patients with liver diseases.
