Season 3, Episode 11 - Regenerative Hepatology: from stem cells to tissue engineering
Currently, the only established therapeutic option for end-stage liver disease is orthotopic liver transplantation. However, the paucity of donor organs limits this option to only a few patients. From liver stem cells to advanced tissue bioengineering, this episode of EASL Studio will discuss regenerative hepatology techniques as an alternative treatment for patients.
