Experienced researchers can serve as role models to actively support young female nurses in developing their presentation skills.
Many nurses do excellent clinical and scientific work, but we are less trained in presenting and sharing our expertise with others. That’s why nurses often remain in the background.
Therefore, we should “make ourselves visible”. Experienced researchers can serve as role models and are well positioned to actively support young female nurses in developing these important presentation skills. We should all think about how to integrate talented new colleagues into our networks and how to promote them in their careers.
