We are happy to announce the virtual event “The future of Liver  Cancer – The 35th BCLC Anniversary”, on November 22, 2021, 

This event is a celebration of 35 years of life of the Hepatic Oncology group within the Hospital Clinic de Barcelona -internationally known as Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer (BCLC).

This scientific celebration will take a look at the future of liver cancer, with prestigious contributions by leaders from around the world, who will offer us their vision and knowledge on different areas of research, but also address aspects of clinical practice in liver cancer for the years to come.

That is why we decided that November 22 will be the official presentation of the BCLC Classification new version – BCLC 2021. In this version we have incorporated the treatments that have shown benefit in the management of hepatocellular carcinoma between 2018 and the present, but also a new part that we believe wiill be very useful for clinical practice. Thus, it will become the follow-up evolution of the model incorporated into the AASLD and EASL guidelines and hopefully will be of major interest for the next versions.

We have thought that, being a celebration, it should be an inclusive and open event with all those professionals and patients interested in liver cancer. For this reason, registration for this event will be completely free, you just have to register in advance.
