Autoimmune Hepatitis

Welcome Message

On behalf of the European Association of the Study of the Liver (EASL) and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) we welcome you to London for the EASL Monothematic Conference Autoimmune Hepatitis.

This two-day meeting will cover a variety of concepts of the pathogenesis of autoimmune hepatitis and various aspects of clinical knowledge, highlighting recent advances as well as focusing on research needs. The programme is designed to foster interaction among presenters and attendees in a plenary session venue. We look forward to your active participation.

Scientific Events

Education is a recognised priority for EASL members. EASL provides educational opportunities at every level from clinical fellow to professor. Every year, EASL hosts 2-3 Monothematic Conferences and 1 Special Conference, and endorses other conferences providing up-to-date seminars on selected topics suitable for Hepatologists from a wide range of expertise. Scientific presentations taken from selected conferences are also available as online educational webcasts.

Schools of Hepatology

Every year EASL hosts three schools (2 clinical and 1 basic science) for young hepatologists which provide teaching in an intimate environment to facilitate exchange between expert and trainee.

The EASL School of Hepatology is intended as a series of events covering diverse aspects in the field of Hepatology. A balanced blend of lectures on theoretical, as well as practical issues, including clinical case-based discussions, is presented during a residential course with a limited attendance of approximately 30 participants. Priority is given to EASL registered members.
