This course is clinically focused, interactive and delivered by national experts, with excellent previous feedback. The programme provides a comprehensive review of the diagnosis, investigation and management of patients with liver disease across outpatient, acute take, ITU and liver transplant settings, as well as daily interactive grand rounds and Q&As with the experts. Trainee and early bird concessions are available.
The Royal Free Sheila Sherlock hepatology course has developed an excellent reputation for its clinically relevant, interactive and curriculum-focused content designed for both gastroenterology trainees and consultants seeking an update that is tailored to everyday practice. Day 2 focusses on acute care and is also open to acute medical trainees. The programme has been re-vamped for 2020, with a clinically focused structure around hepatology in the clinic, acute medical take, ITU and liver transplant settings. The content is structured around plenty of real case histories with time to ask questions. There will also be a social event to continue the conversations for those who are interested.
This is the 7th year the course has been run, with consistently excellent delegate feedback.
Our aim is not to produce academic hepatologists but to equip clinicians with the knowledge and skills to expertly manage patients with liver disease.
