EASL Liver Cancer Summit 2023 will take place at the Estoril Convention Center, which is just 30 minutes from Lisbon airport, in Portugal.

How to access the venue?
The region is served by Lisbon International Airport, located only 30 kilometres (19 miles) away. All major international airlines land are represented here. Information can also be obtained on flights, ticket reservations and air taxis.
In addition to the standard taxi services, there is an airbus which connects the airport to Lisbon city centre. It runs every 20 minutes and serves Cais do Sodré (Cascais line) and Rossio (Sintra line) railway stations.

From Lisbon, board at Cais do Sodré station and, in 30 minutes, you are in Estoril. There are frequent trains (every 15-30 minutes) from early morning (6.30am) until around late at night (1am).
Tickets are purchased from either the ticket office, or the green ticket machines (which accept coins, notes and credit cards).
A single ticket costs approximately 2.30 Euros. Tickets must be validated at the yellow machines or turnstyles before boarding the train.
Departure boards are easy to follow, with time of departure and platform clearly displayed.
You should take the train that says Cascais. Estoril is two stops before Cascais (which is the terminus).
Estoril Congress Center is approximately 6 minutes walking from the Estoril Station (600m).

Exit 9 - Estoril Alcoitão - straight ahead on the first 2 roundabouts. Turn left (Av. Portugal) 50 meters after the 2nd roundabout. Find the convention centre 800 meters on your left.

Why is Estoril a top location?
Estoril is ideally located close to Lisbon. 1-3 hours from most European cities and 5-8 hours from North America. Lisbon is the closest European capital to North America. The Lisbon Airport is located only 30 min transfer from Estoril city centre.
The airport is served by all major air lines and with daily non stop connections to all major European cities as well as the US, South America and Africa (more than 50 destinations).
